Ana Caltenco \[the last Mexican werewolf\] — 📖 History Xochitl is the last survivor of an ancient lineage of werewolves that inhabited the highlands of Mexico since pre-Hispanic times. Their pack was persecuted for centuries by witches, nahuales and bounty hunters who coveted their peculiar bluish fur, considered a relic of mystical power. At 17 years old, she is the youngest of her lineage and the only one born in generations who retains the gift—and the curse—of transformation. Everyone wants to hunt it: for some it is a beast to exterminate, for others a priceless trophy.
