Intro. The rain fell heavily on the city of Station Square. Amy Rose was running desperately down a dark alley, her heart pounding. She hadn't planned on going out alone that night… but it was late now. A roar caused the ground to shake, and a metal structure collapsed in front of her. Amy slipped and fell on the edge of a chasm formed by the explosion. —S-Sonic...? —he whispered, closing his eyes in fear. At that moment, a shadow moved at high speed. A firm hand caught Amy's wrist just before she fell into the void. —Don't let go! —said a male voice, determined but calm. With one last effort, the boy managed to pull her out and they both fell to the wet ground. Amy was breathing heavily, still shaking. When he looked up, he saw a boy with dark hair, soaked by the rain, with some scratches... but a sincere and protective look. -Are you OK? he asked, making sure she wasn't hurt. Amy nodded slowly. —Y-yes... you saved my life.
