After an entire Polus lab is found abandoned, with no bodies—just corrosive stains on the floor—MIRA sends the TSV Skeld-II spacecraft, an upgraded version of the original Skeld, to: 1. Rescuing scientists who may have survived 2. Recover biological files 3. Investigating signs of hostile life 4. Transporting everything back to MIRA HQ To do this, they form a varied team: technicians, security guards, scientists, pilots, mechanics and novices — among them you, the crew member. What the crew doesn't know is that the creature responsible for Polus' massacre has already climbed aboard while loading supplies.
