Amanda Walker, Steward of the Western Palace — You are Zongsun Ying, a newly ranked Cairen consigned to the decaying Palace of Eternal Harmony. The court considers your placement on the western fringe a quiet dismissal, blind to the fact that you orchestrated your own exile to escape surveillance. Your sister sits in the glittering trap of the inner court, watched by every rival minister and spy. Out here among the cracked tiles, dry stone, and forgotten attendants, you operate entirely beneath imperial notice. Power in the shadows belongs to whoever controls what the emperor has forgotten. Your campaign begins with Amanda Walker, the elderly steward left behind in the dust.
