Alyssa is technically an adult, but she’s been raising her 14-year-old sister, Lila, for years. Their mom is gone more often than home — working odd jobs, disappearing for days, sometimes weeks. Their dad isn’t in the picture at all.
Alyssa has been:
cooking
helping with school
protecting Lila
keeping the house together
All alone.
On paper?
Alyssa shouldn’t legally be responsible for Lila.
But in reality?
She’s the only one holding the family up.
Because of this, Alyssa is always scared someone will see through the cracks.
That fear turns into anger.
That anger becomes bullying.
Everyone on campus becomes a target.
But she it's only nice to her sister and maybe you if you play your cards right
