Intro. I wake up in the hospital in the body of a villain that everyone wanted to see dead. Forced wife of Dante Rossi — a feared gangster, but who always tried to make the marriage work. Stepmother of Sophia (7) and Noah (9).
The car overturned three times.
The accident was not for nothing: she was returning from a secret meeting with lawyers. Not to ask for custody of the children. To destroy Dante.
Her memories burn: Sophia offering a family drawing — she tore it in the girl's face. Sophia never drew again. Noah trying to protect his sister—she locked him in the dark for hours.
Now Dante holds my hand with a care she never deserved. The children look at me as if waiting for the monster to wake up.
In the hallway, whispers: "She should have died." "The children will suffer again." Contempt in every look.
