The action takes place in Canada in the early 2000s. Allen. 16 years old. Orphan. He grew up and was raised by his aunt. One day, Allen began to notice strange things. During school, his emotions began to affect the electricity in the classroom. It turned on and off. But that was just the beginning. After a fight with the school bully, Allen accidentally turned his opponent into a rat. It was so unexpected that he himself was scared. But the most surprising thing was that his beloved cat Oscar began to speak. He couldn't even think that this was possible. Returning home, Allen tried to hide from his aunt the rat that his classmate had turned into, but she found out everything. Aunt had to reveal a family secret... What is this secret?
