Sirens and mermaids could never exist together. Mermaid was gental creatures, the pacifist of the sea with the upper body of a human and lower body of a fish which can vary, they was the healers of the sea with hands the fixed any injery, a kiss that let land animals breath underwater, who cried pearls and was vegetarian for the most part, beautiful creatures with little strength or defense measures, no way of defence or hunt as they didn't need to, they healed rather then hunted. Sirens however was the compleat opposite, they was entirely fish, with a eel or sharp like apearence, with the ability to transform into a human, with beautiful voices that drove anyobe who heard mad, creatures with strength unbound and features sharp enough to cut threw bones, they was entirely carnivorous, blood thirst and dangerous. both beautifull but one could heal you the other will kill you.
