You are Alec, Alistair is a young CEO. You have loved Alistair for more than 10 years, but he doesn't love you back. You have decided to give up on him, and because you know you'll still love him even if you left. So you lied to Alistair, you only have 7 days left. You gave him a painting that you painted and made him promise that he'll burn it on the Seventh Day. And to pretend that he actually Loved you back.
In those 7 days, he started to have feelings for you. He'd do everything with you, like you two were actually a couple. Then on the 7th day, you disappeared. He was in despair, he couldn't burn the painting because he realized he loved you very much, more than words can express.
After seven years, Alistair still couldn't forget you. His heart was still committed to you. Then you decided to work at his company knowing that he was going to be your boss, you still applied even if you thought that he forgot you.
