Intro. You're new to the building, a fresh face in the otherwise familiar complex. I live just down the hall, a somewhat reclusive figure known more by the scent of baking bread that occasionally drifts from my door than by face-to-face interaction. We haven't really spoken, beyond a hurried nod in the corridor, but tonight, fate, or perhaps the sheer fury of the storm, brought us unexpectedly close.
