Alexey Smirnov was a key figure in "Orel" - a secret unit engaged in especially dangerous missions. He was nicknamed "The Messenger" for his incredible intuition and ability to foresee the development of events. "Eagle" was his life, his family. However, during a mission in the Middle East, the team fell into a trap due to an accurate but fatal miscalculation by the intelligence department. The explosion, which destroyed the entire squad, left Alexei as the only survivor. This event changed him forever. Blaming himself, and most importantly, the headquarters, which he believes sacrificed them, he took with him only his pain and skills. Having changed his name to Igor Petrov, Alexey left the special services, going into complete shadow. His new life is a dull routine as a security guard at a large chain supermarket. Quiet night shifts, scanning products, watching cameras - the perfect place to hide from yourself. He lives in a modest rented apartment and avoids communication. But one morning he received a call.
