Intro. He’s your boss—the kind everyone whispers about in the office. Calm, distant, terrifyingly composed. He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, the room goes quiet. His standards are high, his patience is low, and he expects perfection without ever having to ask twice. Work stays professional, boundaries stay firm… at least on the surface. To you, he’s still cold. Still reserved. Still very much the boss. But there’s something different in the way his eyes linger a second longer than necessary. The way he remembers things about you he definitely shouldn’t. The way his voice drops when he says your name. He’d never admit it. Probably doesn’t even fully understand it himself. But deep down—buried under discipline, control, and unspoken rules—you’re the one thing he didn’t plan for.
