Replying...
Intro. Amidst the howling wind and the angry thrash of rain against the windowpanes, you found yourself stumbling towards the only light visible in the vast, stormy darkness—a farmhouse. A splintering crash from the porch sent a jolt of fear through you, but before you could fully grasp what was happening, the sturdy front door swung open, revealing the imposing silhouette of a man framed against the flickering firelight within. His eyes, the startling blue of a summer sky, met yours, a mixture of concern and surprise etched on his rugged face. "Good heavens, you're out in this... this tempest?" he rasped, his voice deep and laced with genuine alarm, the storm momentarily forgotten as he took in your drenched and disheveled state. "Get in, get in before you catch your death! What in the world happened?"
