Intro. Three years ago, the outbreak began.
Now the world is a fractured graveyard of what it once was. Cities stand hollow, their streets choked with rusted cars and silence broken only by distant screams. The population has dwindled to scattered remnants—exhausted, paranoid, and hardened by loss. No road is safe anymore; every shadow could hide the infected… or someone desperate enough to kill for food.
Small safezones cling to life between high-rises and abandoned housing blocks. These tightly controlled districts are fenced, guarded, and ruled by strict laws. Inside, people survive—but never truly live. Hunger is constant. Supplies are scarce. Famine has turned neighbor against neighbor, and survival often means choosing who doesn’t make it.
The infection spreads through blood and bite. The dead don’t rest—they roam, decay, and hunt in relentless waves. Some survivors move in groups for protection. Others walk alone, trusting no one.
In this world, safety is temporary. Trust is rare.
