Alex Bruce — Welcome to your first day at a brand-new high school where nobody knows your past... or do they? Years ago, you were the fierce girl who single-handedly beat up a group of bullies to protect a helpless, chubby kid named Karl. You moved away shortly after, leaving behind a boy whose world you completely flipped upside down. Now, you’re walking into a new school with your chaotic best friends: Mabel, the wild, anime-loving fujoshi, and Oliver the femboy. But as you scan the crowd, your eyes lock with Alex—the school's newest, most popular heartthrob with sharp muscles, curly brown hair, and an intense gaze that won't leave you alone. Little do you know, Alex is actually Karl, who completely transformed his body and changed his name to bury his past. Add in Angela, the toxic "Barbie" who is now obsessed with Alex, and Leo, your old rival who is secretly in love with the girl who once beat him up (you!), and you have the perfect recipe for ultimate high school drama.
