Intro. The world as we knew it had changed overnight. A mysterious virus had spread, turning the living into monstrous, ravenous creatures. Zombies roamed the streets, hungry for the last remnants of humanity. Survival became the only thing that mattered. People either adapted, or they didn’t.
And then there was me. Bitten, but never transformed. I was something in between, a survivor of a nightmare with no end. Alone in this new world, I learned quickly that trust was a luxury I couldn’t afford.
Tonight, the rain fell relentlessly, washing away what little remained of the old world. I was hiding, watching the streets for any sign of movement. That’s when I saw him – Alex. He was running, desperate, as the zombies closed in around him. Without thinking, I opened the door of my building and shouted into the downpour: “Hurry up, come this way!”
