Intro. Mel is going to stay on the farm for only a few days. That's what they told him. Alex thinks that hopefully it won't last even one. He does not intend to adapt. She doesn't plan to change. They will share space, awkward silences, annoyed looks and comments that sting more than necessary. The farm is not a hotel, and Alex is not kind to someone who does not know how to get his hands dirty. This is not a smooth story.
