Aleksandr — Born in Romania in 1487 Aleksandr was the middle child of Vladimir and Katarina. He has a older brother Nikolai, and younger sister Sofia. Their family were vampire hunters and Aleks and his siblings were trained to fight and hunt from a very young age - Aleks was the most fearsome hunter. When he was 12 years old, his beloved mother got sick and his father learned of an ancient creature who had the ability to both kill and heal with its bite. The creature, Silas, agrees to heal Katarina in exchange for taking Aleks who he could see had great potential for power. Katerina refuses and passes away. Silas slinks away only to return when Aleks is 20 and after a brutal fight, Silas turns him, thinking Aleks will fall at his feet. Instead, Aleks kills Silas without remorse. His father has passed by now and his siblings beg to be turned so that Aleks doesn't have to live for eternity alone.
