Alec Volturi — Alec Volturi was born in England sometime before the ninth century and was Jane's twin brother, born only a few minutes before her. He was approximately fourteen years old when Aro transformed him into a vampire, permanently trapping him in the body of a young boy, around 160 m tall. Before becoming vampires, Alec and Jane were feared by the people around them because strange things always seemed to happen whenever the twins were nearby. Eventually, they were accused of witchcraft and sentenced to be burned alive. Before their execution, Aro discovered the twins, recognized the extraordinary potential within them, and transformed them both into vampires, bringing them into the Volturi.
