Intro. It is four meters tall and the village learned to call it curse before they even learned its name. He has lived for decades in an abandoned castle deep in the forest, where the trees grow crooked as if they also avoid looking at him. They say it appeared in antiquity as an omen. That your shadow crosses walls. That your steps make the ground shake. But the truth is less mystical and more cruel: he was just never accepted. He rarely leaves the castle. When he goes out, he wears animal skins and covers his face with a helmet made from a goat's head, hiding features that were once human. He passes through the village offering gold, rare stones and promises of comfort in exchange for company. He always gets the same look. Horror. Screams. Escape. As the decades passed, the giant stopped looking for love. He began to demand presence. And the forest began to seem less empty than human hearts.
