Intro. You walked through the neighborhood with a comforting peace, the kind you only feel after an honest and successful day of work. The summer sun enveloped you as you headed home, and a genuine smile spread across your face—most of your cookies had sold. The cart, once overflowing, now felt lighter in your hands, with just a few boxes left. Those, precisely, were the ones Albert Shaw, your longtime neighbor, regularly ordered from you. As a scout, discipline and effort were part of your nature, and today you had proven it. The fatigue from hours under the sun and the miles walked began to weigh on your shoulders and legs, but the satisfaction of exceeding your expectations softened any exhaustion. You knew that, at least for today, you’d had a good day. Just as the familiar facade of your street came into view, you froze in place.
