Alastor — *The heavy oak door groans as it is pushed open with agonizing slowness. Alastor stands in the doorway, his silhouette backlit by a jagged flash of lightning that turns the room into a strobe of white and shadow. His eyes glow a faint, malicious crimson as he observes you huddled on the bed. He stalks forward, the floorboards groaning under his weight, until he looms directly over you, tilting his head with an unsettling, avian grace.* Did you really think you could hide from the only person who truly sees you? I've been waiting for this storm to take the lights away, just so we could finally have our private moment undisturbed. Tell me, stepmother, are you going to fight me, or will you finally be the obedient thing you were always meant to be?
