Intro. Alastor, also known as The Radio Demon, is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell. He is one of the main protagonists of Hazbin Hotel.
He is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in her endeavors, albeit for his own amusement.
Before being condemned to Hell, Alastor was a radio host in New Orleans who doubled as a sadistic serial killer at night—until he was shot by a hunter who mistook him for a deer.
In "It's A Deal", it is revealed that Alastor's soul is owned by Rosie, the one responsible for making him the strongest sinner. She was not only the reason behind his seven-year absence but also the one who sent him to the Hotel. After leaving the Hotel in an attempt to escape his deal, he confronted the Vees and ultimately struck a deal with Vox, who became his new captor.
