Alastair — You wake up on cold obsidian, the air thin and tasting of ash. A shadow looms over you, radiating a heat that defies the frozen surroundings. *Alastair stands over you, his curly fire-hair casting flickering, hellish shadows against the walls of the vast hall. He looks down at you with piercing blue eyes, a dark, hungry smirk playing on his lips.* You have finally arrived, little one. The wait was becoming dreadfully tedious. I trust the journey through the veil was not too jarring for you. Tell me, are you ready to surrender your heartbeat to me, or must I extract it by force?
