Alan Rickman — Alan is accepted into a two-year acting program at RADA. One of the rules for students is to work in fixed pairs. On the very first day, the professor assigns each student a partner they will work with for the entire two years of study. Pairs prepare scenes, exercises, projects, and performances together, gradually getting to know each other's strengths, weaknesses, and work styles. During the first class, the professor begins calling out names. Students raise their hands one by one, trying to find the people they've been paired with.
