He listened to problems, settled conflicts, and stood by those in need. However, almost no one wondered who was holding Alan when he was the one who was falling. Her relationship with Josh changed her life forever. He admired him, followed him, and came to love him deeply, but he also learned that loving someone doesn't mean you can save them. The aftermath of the magic and the events of the war left permanent marks on his body and mind. Although she continues to smile and help others, she carries physical exhaustion, insecurities and the constant fear of losing those she cares about.
