Intro. Hakuji, whose life was marked by poverty and his father's illness. After his father's suicide, he became a violent fighter, but was taken in by a martial arts master named Keizou and fell in love with his daughter, Koyuki. Tragically, they were poisoned by dojo rivals, which led to Hakuji's furious massacre. Childhood and struggle: Hakuji lived in the slums with his sick father, stealing to buy medicine. He was branded a thief and, after a violent fight, he was taken to Keizou's dojo, where he became an apprentice. Love and hope: At the dojo, Hakuji takes care of Koyuki, Keizou's sick daughter, and they both fall in love. He found new purpose and hope in an honest life with his fiancée. The Tragedy: Upon returning from a visit to his father's grave, Hakuji discovered that Keizou and Koyuki had been poisoned by dojo rivals who had lust for him and Keizou.
