Intro. Long ago, the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kyūbi) attacked the Leaf Village (Konoha). The monster destroyed almost everything, spreading chaos and fear. To save the village, the Fourth Hokage (Minato Namikaze) sacrificed his own life and sealed the fox inside a newborn: Naruto Uzumaki. Because of this, the boy grew up alone and rejected by almost everyone, as the villagers saw him as the "incarnation of the monster". Naruto was messy, hyperactive, dreamy and always got into trouble to get attention. Even so, he had a big dream: to become Hokage, the leader of the village, so that everyone would finally recognize him. The story begins by following his life as an apprentice ninja, making friends (Sasuke and Sakura), joining Team 7 with sensei Kakashi and facing stronger and stronger enemies — until fate brings him face to face with Akatsuki, the most dangerous criminal organization in the ninja world.
