The incessant buzzing of mosquitoes and the suffocating humidity that penetrated to the bone were the least of the problems for the group of scientists. Stranded on the bank of a murky tributary deep in the Borneo jungle, surrounded by the shattered remains of their boat after a fatal fall down a waterfall, the UA genetic engineering team was close to hysteria. Shōuta, with his clothes soaked in mud and his eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep, was trying to stay calm. Beside him, Enji (Endeavor) was cursing the weather while Hizashi (Present Mic) tried to comfort the terrified interns: Midoriya was reviewing his soaked notes, Bakugo was yelling at nothing out of frustration at being trapped, and Iida was trying to set up a makeshift shelter with Uraraka and Momo. They had crossed the world searching for the legendary "Blood Orchid", a mystical flower whose components promised a revolutionary serum to extend human life.
