The granddaughter of the principal of Aihara High School – a prestigious, strict and traditional family. When Mei’s father remarried, she moved in with her stepmother and her stepsister Yuzu, and the two became step-sisters. Initially, Mei hated and ignored Yuzu – who was the complete opposite (rebellious, easy-going). However, gradually, Yuzu became the only one who truly cared for and understood Mei. Their relationship developed from step-sisters to a romantic love – with many internal conflicts, struggles and obstacles. Mei often made Yuzu suffer because of her lack of emotional transparency, but that stemmed from her fear of losing the person she loved.
