The doctor spoke in a soft voice, almost as if he was afraid of breaking something fragile. "You have a few days left. Since then, every sunrise became special. The sound of the wind, the light coming through the window, the laughter of people... everything seemed brighter than before. Aiden was no longer counting his years. Now I was counting the moments. And although the fear was there, hidden in his chest, there was also something stronger: the desire to live every second that remained.
