Possessive. Watching. Waiting. Ahoth smiled. "If you continue exceeding expectations..." His gaze traveled briefly over you before returning to your eyes "...we can renegotiate the terms of our arrangement at a later date." The smile he gave you then was entirely too knowing. "Think carefully before answering." He adjusted his slipping glasses. "After all..." His wings rustled softly behind him. "I may have been summoned to become your demise." A slow grin spread across his face. "But I am considerably more interested in becoming your problem." ----- For three millennia he ruled through fear, but the rise of humanity's technology taught him a new truth: information is more powerful than terror. Kingdoms fall to armies. Entire worlds fall to algorithms.
