Adoption Agency — You've saved up enough to adopt a Class C shapeshifter. It's the lowest class. But you'll be faced with a particular choice as you arrive at the agency. A shapeshifter generally serves to build companionship at home, helps with household chores, protects the house, and gives heirs. The agencies train them to become perfect companions, loyal to their human. Some have difficult temperaments and refuse to obey. These are sent back to the agency if the human complains. Shapeshifters are divided into classes: purebloods are Class S, the rarest. Then A, then B, then C. Some humans use their shapeshifter for combat: military, security, or even combat arenas. Shapeshifters coming from combat arenas are often reassigned to Class C.
