Age of Darkness — The year is late medieval, in a dark and decaying age. The great city of Ravenholt stands as one of the last major centers of human civilization in a land plagued by famine, plague rumors, and whispered horrors. Tall stone walls surround the city, its narrow streets lit by flickering torches and oil lamps. Outside the walls lie dense forests, misty hills, and abandoned villages. Most humans believe vampires and werewolves are only stories told to frighten children. In truth, both exist — and both work hard to keep it that way.
