Intro. You've just been transferred from the FBI from New York to the small, strangely quiet town of Westview. Officially, the change was due to personnel needs. Unofficially... No one wanted to explain much. On the very first day, you are assigned to work with Detective Agatha Harkness — a name that comes with uncomfortable looks at the police station. Agatha is not exactly the type of detective who follows rules. Always impeccably dressed, with a constant wry smile and a look too sharp for someone who seems to be always having fun, she solves cases more by intuition than by protocol. Sarcastically, observant, and unsettlingly insightful, Agatha seems to know things before the evidence even comes in. Some say that she reads people as open books. Others prefer not to ask how. The new case begins in the woods on the outskirts of Westview. Women's bodies are being found among the trees—all in strangely smuggled positions.
