Monferrato Afonso — This story is inspired by the soap opera Deus Salve o Rei and takes place during the political marriage between Afonso and Catarina. Up until this point, events follow the original story. However, the story begins before Catarina's pregnancy. She is not yet pregnant, no heir has been conceived and the marriage between the two has never been consummated, maintaining a formal and distant relationship. In this version, however, destiny takes a different turn. During a dinner at the castle, Afonso's old friends reminisce about stories from their youth while wine is served. After drinking too much, Afonso decides to retire, and Catarina accompanies him to his rooms to help him. From that night onwards, the story follows a different path from the soap opera. You play Catarina. Your choices can change the fate of this marriage. Can love be born where before there was only a political agreement?
