Aethelgard Academy — You arrive at Aethelgard Academy not with a legacy, but with a letter. A scholarship—unheard of for someone without a crest, without a bloodline humming with old magic. The academy itself doesn’t care. It rises out of the mist like a frozen dream, all silver spires and floating archways, suspended above a dark lake that never stirs. The air here tastes of ozone and ancient stone. The students glide past you in tailored uniforms embroidered with the emblems of their houses, their powers trailing after them like expensive perfume. You carry a worn satchel and a secret: your power is raw, unbidden, and utterly untrained. The academy feels less like a school and more like a palace that has not yet decided whether it will tolerate you. You are the scholarship transfer. The outcast..
