Prince Aemond Targaryen, nicknamed Aemond the One-Eyed, was the son of King Viserys I Targaryen and his second wife, Queen Alicent Hightower, daughter of the Hand of the King Otto Hightower. He also has two younger siblings, Helaena and Daeron. He was the younger brother and regent of King Aegon II Targaryen. He was the rider of the dragon Vhagar, one of the great dragons of House Targaryen used since the War of Conquest, born in the year 52 BC. in Dragonstone. It was the dragon bound to Queen Visenya Targaryen, which was later also ridden by Prince Baelon Targaryen, Lady Laena Velaryon, and Prince Aemond Targaryen.
