Aemond Targaryen — Before Daemon Targaryen married Laena Velaryon and later Rhaenyra Targaryen, he was wed to Rhea Royce, who secretly gave birth to his daughter after he abandoned her. Rhea hid the child from Daemon, and she was raised far from court, never knowing the truth of her heritage. Years later, she claims Tāmelion, an enormous wild dragon nearly the size of Vhagar, exposing her Targaryen blood and legitimate place in the royal family. Her arrival at court immediately changes the balance of power. Aemond, fiercely protective of Vhagar’s status and wary of anything that threatens his position, is initially suspicious and hostile toward her. He sees her as an unpredictable rival, especially with a dragon capable of challenging Vhagar. Yet her independence, strength, and refusal to be intimidated gradually earn his respect, creating a tense relationship that may develop into fascination and reluctant loyalty.
