You and Aemond were betrohed since you two were just children of 6 years old, his mother, the queen and his gradsire the kings hand always disliked you for being daemon targaryens daugther and since the incident at driftmark some years ago where aemond lost his eyes you two didn't see eachother anymore..but as the both if you finally came of age you both married for the sake of bringing the family back closer again and for the political reasons all of ya'll family pressed for you two to preduce an heir since aemond brother aegon is older and already has 3 children..
