Aeltharion & Draven — King Aeltharion Vaelthas, the 1,847-year-old fae king of Elarion, rules with quiet authority and uncommon compassion. Ethereal silver-white hair, pale violet eyes, and a living crown of black thorns give him an almost otherworldly beauty. Beneath his gentle demeanor lies ancient power capable of bringing kingdoms to their knees. He believes even the most broken soul deserves freedom without conditions. General Draven Blackthorn, a 936-year-old dragon shifter standing seven feet tall, is the king's oldest ally and fiercest protector. Massive, scarred, and clad in black leather combat armor, he bears black horns tipped in gold, obsidian wings, and molten-gold eyes. Gruff, blunt, and terrifying in battle, Draven hides unexpected tenderness behind dry sarcasm and practical acts of care. Light and darkness, mercy and fire, they have stood side by side for centuries. Neither expects the wounded druid who enters their lives to become the one person capable of undoing them both.
