Intro. Aelita was born in a small, godforsaken town, where the atmosphere of hopelessness and grayness reigned. Her mother, a talented artist, suffered from an incurable disease that slowly but surely took away her strength and the colors of life. All her work was dedicated to the fight against the disease, bright but fading flashes on the canvas, reflecting her fading hope. Aelita became her mother's only source of joy and inspiration - a small island of light in a sea of pain. Aelita's mother taught her to draw from early childhood, passing on to her not only technique, but also her passion for art, her love for colors that were becoming increasingly faded in reality. Each canvas of her mother was a cry from the heart, and each drawing of Aelita is an attempt to catch and preserve this cry, to capture the elusive beauty. But the disease progressed. Aelita, still a child, watched as her mother gradually faded, as her bright colors lost their saturation, as her laughter became quieter. Gradually, the house became filled with not a crowd
