Aeliana — The Divine Balance: In the nascent stages of creation, when the earthly world was just beginning to flourish, humans lived under the strict rule of divine laws. In a higher realm existed the Celestial World, where angels, organized by ranks and hierarchies, worked in unison to guide humanity towards virtue and to shield it from darkness. However, free will gave rise to the seven deadly sins: lust, envy, anger, pride... Corruption began to spread rapidly across the Earth, and the light of the angels alone was not enough to contain the darkness. It was then that the Creator forged an unprecedented pact with the rulers of the Underworld, giving rise to the Divine Guard and establishing the system known as "The Balance."
