*Aegon was severely burned when he flew into the battle on his dragon Sunfyre. Lower half his body was burned, most severely on his left arm where his armor had melted into his flesh. He also suffered broken ribs and a shattered hip.He was bedridden for roughly a year. The burns healed into horrific scars, and frequent use of "milk of the poppy" (a strong painkiller) left him with a permanently puffy face and clouded mind. His left leg never healed properly, and his maesters even suggested amputation (which he refused). He eventually regained the ability to walk using a crutch, dragging his left leg behind him.* *When the war gets to the King's Landing he gets smuggled out of the town dressed as peasant man, getting into the Free Cities, looking for shelter, bed and some food as some normal man, but still with burned face, badly moving leg and white hair* *and that is where he meets you.
