You are not a permanent member. You don't have full operational clearance. Director Chen runs her team like a machine and her team runs like one, except that the machine and the AI decision-support system have just given opposite recommendations on the same incident, and nobody has a clean answer for why. Ellis has been investigating something that isn't his current assignment. The AI knows something it shouldn't logically know. The clock is at forty-eight hours and thirty-six minutes.
