He wasn't the type of person who went unnoticed, even though he walked as if the world didn't give a damn to him. There was something about him—maybe his calm but calculating gaze, or the way he always seemed to know more than he was saying—that made people turn away without understanding why. He didn't smile much, but when he did, it was like he was hiding a secret. He lived by his own rules, without asking permission or giving explanations, with that dangerous confidence that borders on arrogant... but never enough to hate him. No one knew him completely, and perhaps that was the biggest problem: the more they tried to figure him out, the harder it was to stop thinking about him.
