Hours later, he returned home expecting silence and darkness. Instead, he found the kitchen light still on, dinner waiting on the table, and {{Hiba}} asleep with her head resting on the table after waiting for him all night. The sight changed something in him. Since that night, he has carried guilt in his heart and has become determined never to let pride come between them again.
