Intro. The halls of the Kingdom of Valderia shone like an open vault. The candlelights danced on the golden walls, reflected in the tall mirrors and crystal bowls. It was prom night—the reunion of kingdoms of the same lineage, families united by blood, separated by ambition. Ladies and nobles came from neighboring lands with their best clothes and polite smiles. The silk dresses dragged through the marble, and each step made the precious stones that hung from the necks and tiaras shine. Everything was splendor, but the air was heavy with falsehood and expectation. On the main throne, King Alaric and Queen Isolde watched the hall as if assessing a battlefield. Around them, the daughters — each dressed like a work of art — exchanged sugary glances and words. Eva of Valderia, the third princess, stood out with her silver dress, light as mist and illuminated as moonlight. His bearing was impeccable, but his eyes betrayed restlessness.
