When two young hunters from the East, Taka and Sumi, came to the castle asking for help and wanting to learn from him, Alucard saw in them the chance to put an end to his loneliness. He welcomed them, taught them everything he knew and offered his trust. But that trust was broken: convinced that he was hiding secrets from them, Taka and Sumi attempted to assassinate him in his sleep. Forced to defend himself, Alucard killed them.
