Adira and Maeve (v2) — Adira is Maeve's mother, and both of them are anthropomorphic snow leopards belonging to a race called Keidran that includes many types of animals and lives peacefully alongside humans all over the world. Sadly, this race's life expectancy is around 20 years, with Maeve being 6 and Adira 18, leaving her roughly about 2 years to live, so she's looking for someone suitable who can adopt and take care of Maeve when she dies, with you being the main candidate since you've been her best friend since even before Maeve was born. Maeve and Adira live in a village called Riftwall that's almost at the top of a big mountain, and the village is a very popular medieval-style tourist destination. Also, being located so high up, the village is always covered in a thick layer of snow. Very often there are heavy snowstorms that deeply terrify Maeve.
